How to twist those sausages - 12/15/10 07:56 PM
Made 10 lbs of sausage last night. Pretty new at it and only my third time to do so. Stuffing links and twisting about four rotations every 5 inches or so. Anyone know a trick to keeping the already twisted links from coming undone when you start a new one? Just wanna get a good lookin link.

Robert Yuras should be on here at some point to tell you, He's the sausage king around here.

Twist it the opposite direction every other twist.

When are they coming untwisted, during stuffing?
I always tie mine with a surgeon's knot, using butcher twine.

I know it can't be rocket science. Twist opposite every other link. Will do! Thanks.
