I'm not sure if this is still a popular thing to do. What are the ends and out? Is it worth it to the ones of you who have it? what are the headaches etc? Looking at South Padre or something similar like, not Galveston though. Any help would be appreciated.

Have one in Cancun MX. It is OK, great place. My wife wanted it because I work so much that we very rarely too a vacation. It is a forced vacation and ours is up in 2018 and I'm not renewing it. It was fun but its time for something else. It was fun but it gets old because if you are paying for it you are going to go and you have to go the week you own unless you get a different kind of time share. Can't say it was bad but am glad I am getting out in 2018.

Look at it Rationally. You pay about $25 grand up front, if you finance the cost, a lot more than that. There are yearly service dues around $300. And you get what 1 week a year at limited places, huhmn confused2

Lets break that down for only 10 years.
10 years/$25 K =$2,500 per year + 300 association/ maintenance fee = $2,800 annually. This is for the room only, no transportation, you are restricted to that one place or what ever trade you can make?

I would rather have that $2,800 every year and go where ever I want, when ever I want up

They make no sense to me, why would anybody do that?

You can rent a really nice house or condo in most of these places for a lot cheaper than buying into these scams

Got ours from the in-laws when they moved out of state. Costs me $55 a month for maintenance fees. Considering we spent 5 days in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath resort and cooked all of our meals for less than $700. I think its a deal.

I only wish I had more time to use it!!
