DD and Vets Cat

DD and Vets Cat - 02/14/13 09:13 PM

Took my DD in for his yearly check up and shots last week. As I was approaching the front door of the Vets office with dog on leash I see the clinic cat sitting just inside the door. Knowing my DD would go crazy if I opened the door, I stood outside until someone exited. When an elderly lady opened the door to leave I asked her to please ask the staff to get the cat so I could enter.
I could hear them say "OH HE CAN STAND UP FOR HIMSELF"
Luckyly they did pick up the cat and carry it to the back. I entered and I was standing at the counter telling them why I was there when I just about got jerked off my feet. The clinic cat had returned and crouched under a bench about 3 feet away. I was sure glad I had a strong collar and lead on my DD or that cat may have been history. I don't think the staff understands what a cat means to a DD.

Most are pretty careful when it comes to cat and dogs for obvious reasons. I know one clinic opened another section just for cats thank goodness.
