For Those of You Who Have Asked...

For Those of You Who Have Asked... - 08/30/12 02:12 AM

I've gotten a number of very nice emails from several wonderful, caring folks on here who've expressed concern because they've not seen me post for a while. Thank you SO much for your care and concern!

Please be assured, all is fine - we are just very busy. We have two litters on the ground, 12 pups going into the Jump Start Academy, several dogs in for training with hunting season just around the corner, several started dogs getting spruced up for their new owners and, of course, I've got my OWN dogs to get ready for hunting season.

So, I just wanted to let you know that I greatly appreciate the wonderful emails and assure you that all is fine. Things could be worse - we could be 'NOT busy' and that's never a good sign! We appreciate everyone's confidence in our program!

Best wishes to all this upcoming season. I know I can't wait to get back out there with Rascal & Rusty (and this year Roux & Rogue, too!) If you need to reach me, text me, pick up the phone or drop an email to info@ironspikeranch.net or ironspikeranch@mail.com. We are always here for our 'gun dog buddies.'

lol.... Oh yes, and I forgot to mention that I recently bought motorcycles for both myself and Kiddo. Getting back on the road after many years took some practice and so all of that "free time" of mine got eaten up... because sleep is overrated!!!!

Here's my new ride (still trying to figure out where to put the dog):

Nice bike. Wheres the Kiddo's? Glad all is good, I've been so busy, I guess I didn't notice you hadn't been on here. Be careful on that thing!! Oh, for the dog, side car!! Don't forget his helmet & goggles.

Thanks for the compliments on the bikes. In many ways, Kiddo & I are just alike. And then, within those similarities, we have our different 'flavors', if you will. She's tall, young, loves speed and can actually get both feet flat on the ground straddling that Gixxer.

As for me, I love the retro styling of my Honda Shadow Aero, the super low seat and all the chrome. Absolutely PERFECT for a comfy cruise on the winding East Texas back roads.

Two 750's, but oh so very different! Still, each suits us perfectly. We love riding together (but it HAS caused some trucks to veer wildly when passing. Not sure THAT'S so safe! ) biker

Nice bikes...answers my question of where my boy BlackJack got his rebel streak!

Be careful we need ya around!
