I have 562 acres in Batson that I am going to put 6 people on. Bow and gun lease, I need 6 people who are responsible and respectful of others. Would really prefer if we could get 6 people who are all friends. Would like to keep it to 2 stands per hunter. Just looking for some people with good common sense. This is plenty of land for 6 people plus myself to hunt. Cost will be $650 per spot. There are plenty of deer and hogs on this property. If you are interested call me at 281-659-3562. This will be a year round lease, it is located behind the Batson oilfields. There are some big deer around this area.

If everyone is wondering why ol' Jack hasn't updated his thread is because he screwed me out of it and didn't have the balls to tell me face to face or put it on here that he gave it to the person second in line. I have no problems with you Jdafonte. I even double checked by emailing Jdafonte and he confirmed he had looked at the lease (the same day i was suppose to) and made the deal with jack. Jack had me drive almost three damn hours up there to sit and wait on him for another two hours before telling me he had being trying to access the lease with no luck. Never got to see the man face to face. I had three other guys and a trailer of four 4-wheelers. Well, you get the picture, four pissed off people, wasted time and burned up fuel. The other group was evidently looking at it at that time. I had first dibs on this lease as i was told and to confirm this, He also told CWILL to contact me to see if i needed more people because i was the first in line. When i talked with jack on the phone on the 7th, Jack and i discussed meeting at ten on the 9th. That morning of the ninth i called at 7 am to confirm with him and he said wait an hour before i leave so that he could see if he could access the lease. Little did i realize it was being sold out from under me. Jack, what would be wrong with telling the first guys they could have it if i backed out or at least telling me before i left the house at 7 O'clock in the morning that you were screwing me out of first shot. His so called access story was, one way in, only accessed about two acres of it before you had to cross a deep creek and another access involved going through someone elses land in which the owner told him "I suggest you get off my property." His last words was he wasn't going to fool with it and said he was not yet bound to pay for it. He then gives me a number to his friend that has the 8000 acre lease in Lake Houston. I sure hope his friend has better morals than he does. I've been given the run-around before but, this one is a record breaker for me. Jdafonte good luck with this guy and don't pick up the soap with ol' Jack behind ya. And Jack I hope the favor is returned someday. It's a sad day when a man's word or a hand shake doesn't mean squat in the good ol' USA. I'd like to end this on a good note so, Thank our soldiers fighting for our freedom. If you know one personally or if their a family member tell them i appreciate their sacrifices and yours also.

So, you are angry because you were supposed to have "first dibs" on the lease and he chose someone else? Maybe I misread it or missed something which is possible because it is so late. Did he take your money or something?

i think its a little more than that he had him and 4 other guys sitting out their for no reson snd wasted gas id probobly beat him if it was me i see why hes mad the wasted gas is enough reason for a beating in these days

Hey nathan, the simple fact that he lied to me several times is enough to chapp my a$%. I don't know when some of you guys got immune to be being lied to but, where i come from it's like a slap in the face. Like i said in my post it's a sad day when this becomes acceptible. By GOD when i give somebody my word or shake their hand, its binding. Well I'm glad at least people are reading it.

jdcotton, not trying to avoid you. Didnt know you had first dibs on the land, jack71 told us the same thing. If i knew you had first dibs i would of at least waited until you had the option of accepted or turning it down.

Was it that good of a place? Just wonderin? Sorry about the experience i am with you 100% a mans word should be solid. Man i couldnt imagine the drive home.
