East,Tx Lease - 04/04/11 07:55 PM

Looking for 1-2 people for a lease in Nacogdoches. 400 acres of dense pine and hardwood. No housing or utilities....just land. There is a nice spot for a camp that we use. Looking for someone familiar with hunting east tx and how it can be. $389/yr. PM if intersted.

I think I know where this is. I looked at leasing myself a few years ago and decided that there was too much open roadway- too tempting for the locals.

Just a heads up to those who have replied to this thread. Due to the amount of people who left the lease I have decided to give it up all together come this season. If someone would like to take over the lease as a head leasee...shoot me a pm. You would be repsonsible for the $3,000 cost as well as finding more members.

Re: East,Tx Lease - 04/18/11 06:52 PM

Fishunter, this is a Campbell lease isn't it? Are you going to let it go back to them by not renewing the lease? I don't think I would want to take this over- I have enough to take care of with the one I have now. But if enough people are interested and someone wants to be "the man" I might be willing to join and would be willing to keep and eye on things for the members. As the crow flies it is probably only 6 or 7 miles from my house.

I don't know he has been trying to fill the same lease since the spring of 2010. Considering now he is hijacking other peoples threads to post the same tired old lease, pretty much tells me why he can't keep people.

Yep, between that and almost $17 per acre for deer season only. Now I'll let FISHUNTER get back to filling his lease.
