Black Bear 3&5 day hunts

It's time to start booking hunts for the 2016 fall season. NM bear season opens August 16-31 & September 25- November 15. We offer 3 & 5 day hunts, they can be guide only or fully outfitted hunts. Packages starting at $2000-$3200. We have lots of color phase bears and a high success rate.

Heck of a hunt

We have one opening left for August 27-31. It can be a 3 or 5 day hunt. Antelope season is going on then and I have tags for a private ranch in North Eastern NM. If someone would be interested in a combo hunt it can be arranged. Call text or email for more information!!!

where do the hunts take place?

Location...

We mainly hunt near Ruidoso and Capitan, NM. But as the quotas begin to get met we will hunt through out NM.

September 25-27 and Oct 18-20 are still available.

I talked to him and checked his references. Nothing but great info. I'm going with him in October. Can't wait!

Just got back from Utah where I was training hounds and helping my friend Big Al Morris harvest this beautiful bear.

August 22-27 just opened up! This can either be a 5 day hunt or a 3 day hunt. This will be a great hunt in some great bear country. Camp and meals are available for this hunt also.

These are incredible hunt dates- reasonably priced, and with an outstanding outfitter that I'm proud to call my friend. I've never purchased a hunt from Joe, but I know his hounds and his operation well. Maybe this fall I can make time to drive down South- share camp and have the chance to hike some miles and sit under a few trees again, with Joe and a bunch of his dogs that will always have a place in my Hearts!

Season starts in a few day! We still have a few days in October open.
