Looking for a Guided Elk Hunt in NM or CO. Suggestions please - 01/12/16 03:45 PM

I know this has been asked before, and I have searched the forums, but I still want current suggestions especially from last season. This will be my first Elk hunt ever. Not interested in DIY hunts, looking for either 2 on 1 or 1 on 1 fully guided experience.

Thanks!

I've hunted Bear & Mt. Lion w/ Little Joe. He runs a great operation.

I have hunted with this gentleman several times. He gives you a quality hunt for a fair price.

He had some great references. If I don't pull an elk tag I am going to take my son and shoot a couple bears. I think my odds of pulling a tag are pretty slim?

1st year probably slim i think there around 10% in the Gila units its worth it though for a chance at a monster, but your chances definetly increase going through an outfitter.
