I can only handle one Beaver at a time.
Not as young as I used to be.

Where are you located? I own a nuisance wildlife company in Houston....I've taken 67 beaver in the last 2 months....what do you have in mind...they aren't hard to hunt, but maybe we could make it fun.

If your just wanting the skull and hide I would just buy them on eBay but if it's the hunt your after then I would contact nuisance trappers.

I shoot a couple a year in my pond. They travel up the creeks to get there from the Sabine River. If I was wanting to go out and hunt one, I would probably look into floating one of the bigger rivers like the Sabine that is close to you. Back in CA where I'm from, it was legal to spotlight them in the Delta between Valejo and Sacramento. Friends would go all the time with their bows and night hunt them.

Just saw a beaver road kill the other night near a creek. They are out and about all night long!!!

Might try Daddy's $ Money or the Lizard Lounge...

Seriously, legally can you shoot a beaver just to be shooting one? I think you can kill them if they are damaging your property but just to float the river and shoot them?

oh man how did I miss this thread...ok, at least I get to start the day off with it...lmao...

I may still mount things from time to time (got a nice 10 point at the Taxi now)...but my beaver mounting days are long gone....too bad as I like the ones with black, brown, red, and blond pelts, damn I never did do a euro....
