GROUP DOE HUNT SPECIAL SEASON

We will be hosting two group doe hunts this year. Meals and Lodging included. Basic field dressing and cold storage included, processing into quarters or more detailed available. We are planning on taking forty does both weekends. The first group will be 01-06 through 01-08 second group 01-13 to 01-15. Price for hunt is $600 50% deposit due at booking. The first weekend has four spots booked already. There will be three guides per group so roughly 1/3 guide to hunter ratio. Book by messaging 7Mag or I, or call Jeff at 3254561251. Four does each paying spot. Non MLD So tags are required.

4 does per hunter, non MLD. Also please note............NO SPLITTING ON PACKAGES, PLEASE. Each person must be paid and is allowed four does. Example......husband and wife, are TWO spots or 1200 dollars, not ONE spot and 600 dollars, Thanks

Thanks 7mag I knew I would forget a bunch. Also there r a few hogs on a couple of these doe ranches and they will be included in the hunt at no additional cost.

That will be a lot of cutting. This is a great deal folks. I've hog hunted some of these places and the deer are there. The lodging is first class. Outstanding deal.

Just got back from pig hunting on one of the ranches these hunts will be on. There were from 9 to 12 deer at a time at the feeders. Deer within 10 yards of my pop up every hunt. Bring your big ice chests.

This will be a great hunt Group A may be booked will know in am.

I may not have any doe tags left by the time these hunts roll around but if I have a few I will try to sneak in a spot.

I've seen some hunts posted for as much or more money but with only 2 does allowed. This is a good deal folks.

Guys this hunt is getting close. The biologist is calling for a lot more does to be taken off this place than he is scheduling hunters for so you should have opportunities to put meat in the freezer.

Back up for a great opportunity on a great property. Lodging is first class and I hunted hogs here a few weeks ago & deer were everywhere.

How many spots open for 2nd hunt?

Clarification on these hunts as there seems to be some confusion. The first hunt is booked and ready to go. The second hunt is not fully booked.

In order for the 2nd hunt to "go" there needs to be 10 hunters, as the first, sorry. The cost of lodging is the biggest factor, more people and a better discount with the cabins. Another words if there are only 2 or 3 etc. the second one will not go. The ranches used do not have on sight lodging, so there is the added cost of this. Hope that clarifies.

Ok guys here r some details Ill give the second group tell the end of the week to book untill we pull the plug on it. I had two back out so there is eight spots open for it.

For the first group guys we will meet on Ojeda's Rest as usual at the intersection of US HWY 190 East and US HWY 83 on friday at noon for lunch. You will need to bring beverages adult or otherwise to ranch two meals aday will be provided brunch and dinner. You will need to bring your own towels and personal hygine products. Two does down and found. Chillin' over dinner right now. Lookin' to skin some more in the morning. Signal is no bueno out there so i will post again when I can.

We ended up having a good hunt with some great guests over the weekend. I will post up a report and some pics when I get home from work.

First a big thank you to the seven guests who showed up and hunted. Y'all made for a fun weekend and I appreciate the opportunity to share your weekend with you. Second to Jeff who invited me to help out. Now let's just say I had high hopes for more dead animals but a full moon and unseasonably warm weather worked against us. To their credit though the hunters sat long sits in the stands, even on a cold Saturday morning and managed to put some meat in the ice chests. I took a few pics of the hunters with their prizes, some firsts for three of our hunters and we are darn proud to have been a part of that too.

As well as the other successful hunters after a chili Saturday morning sit.

Just want to say that my family and I appreciate all the hard work that Jeff and passthru put in to provide us with a great hunt. With the weather and full moon it was a guessing game as to where the deer would show.
As it were, we came home with meat for the freezer and great memories and look forward to future hunts.

Jeff any more in February?
