Yes, unless you get the 4' platform or the wheel platform.

Re: Turtle Blinds - 02/25/14 03:08 AM

For $150 more it's worth having it rigged out. Can you find them local or is it something I have to travel to south Texas or Georgetown to get? I didn't see that in the website.

Re: Turtle Blinds - 02/25/14 02:13 PM

I'm guessing they are in Georgetown.

Hot for bow hunting until it cools down. I have a Krivoman Blind...nice and I believe thicker than the turtle blind.

I heard you need to get the tan blinds, little cooler than the green one's. Thanks for the info everyone.

Re: Turtle Blinds - 03/04/14 06:00 PM

Just was forwarded this thread.. As for my blinds, they are thicker than the other shells out there. The turtle blind is an excellent blind. Cant go wrong with it if it is closer to you.. But Mine is thicker which means no sunlight through the walls. Mine is also a tad taller and wider than the turtle. As for the heat, they are all hot. I do offer a vent that makes all the difference in the world. It allows the inside to acclaimate to the outside so when you get in the blind it is not nearly as hot as it would be without a vent..

Re: Turtle Blinds - 03/29/14 06:53 PM

Well I hope the turtle blind is better than the maverick blind. I actually found the mavericks for sale locally but didn't like it at all. Cheap two peace plastic. Door and windows were both junk. I'd like to see if the turtle blind is built any better. They wanted 800+tax for a green 6x6 maverick blind and it look more like a 400-500$ blind..tops.

Anybody been able to compare the maverick and turtle blind in person?

Re: Turtle Blinds - 03/30/14 01:39 PM

I've used both the turtle blinds & Mitch's (Krivoman) blinds.

When it came time to buy - I went with Krivoman.

I'm not a fan of the windows in the turtle blinds & I liked being able to add extra windows on the Krivoman blinds.

Take a look at the Maverick Binds. They come in two sections you have to put together. I have seen the Krivoman and the Turtle. The wall thickness on the Turtle blinds are too thin. They are offering a pretty good deal on the Maverick blinds right now. I recieved a flyer from them and I have ordered two of them to test out as well.

Re: Turtle Blinds - 04/10/14 01:32 PM

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Krivoman myself. I will wait to see what you think of the Maverick before I do.

Can't go wrong with anything made by Krivo

Where can you get the krivoman?

Re: Turtle Blinds - 04/10/14 10:18 PM

I think someone provided a link earlier but I think he's in Georgetown.

Re: Turtle Blinds - 04/10/14 11:48 PM

Thanks dgilbert. I saw that, was just hoping there was somewhere closer to north Texas to look at them.

Re: Turtle Blinds - 04/13/14 05:02 PM

A two piece blind is easier for transport. That said I have a trailer so . . .

Is the turtle thinner than the maverick? I honestly thought the maverick was way over priced for what it was. They want 800$ for a maverick here. Not worth it to me
