Shelves and other inside details come next.
I like to do all of that before I close up the top...for obvious air circulation issues in the shop. smile
I put one 4-6" wide shelf all the way across the front and "below" the front windows.
This is a great place for binoculars, calls, etc. without any visible movement up in the windows.
I also put at least one large corner shelf in and usually a hook in the other corner.

The roof:
I brace up the roof with more 2x2" material and cap it off with plywood...all glued of course.
At this point the stand is all sealed up and solid as a rock.

I put gussets in for the roof, but that's probably overkill.

The exterior windows hinge upward, so they are held up with heavy tared twine.

I have two spots to hook the string. One for when it's raining, one for when it's not.
In this pic it's in rain position...window with a slight downward slope to shed water.

Here's a pic of the stand all closed up. They lock from the inside with a simple hole and nail for a pin.

One more post and it's done...see you on part 7. smile
