Go to website. Alot of stuff won't show out of stock until you put it in the cart.

Yeah, the catalog is pretty worthless at this point...those have to be ready for printing waaaay before they can react to upheavals like we just had.

That's where I buy most of my new stuff, prices are the best after shipping, coupon discounts etc.

Re: Sportsmans Guide - 01/12/13 09:13 AM

I've had great experience for 3 years w/ SG till this Christmas. I ordered a muzzleloader on the day after Thanksgiving so I could sight it in/practice over Christmas.

After 6 weeks of emails and phone calls on the whereabouts of my order, they tell me it is out of stock. 6 weeks to figure that out??? flame So no ML season for me, which was to be my 2nd and last chance to hunt this year. bang

I get that sometimes things happen, but they were clearly not concerned with even trying to make the situation right. Just got a "Sorry."

Descending from soap box...

Sportsman's Guide was just bought out by Northern Tool & Equipment. I'm not exactly sure that's a good thing.

At one time Herters and Northern had a partnership, I remember buying decoys at the store in San Antonio. Wonder what ever happened there

Herter's went belly up and the name was sold to Cabela's.
