Game Cam question

I have several different brands and models, they all take pictures of tree or feeder shadow from about 12-3 pm every 30 second, whats the deal? And is there any setup that would eliminate this?

Some of the camera's have a sensitivity setting. Might check that first.

I have found that changing the direction the camera is facing will also make a difference. One camera, I had to mount lower and angle the view up so it doesn't catch the ground.

Obviously, clearing out any grass or branches will make a difference too, but I doubt that is your issue.

Try and face Your cam North and keep it out of the sunrise or sunset haze.

If there is brush or weeds in front of your cameras, wind can make them move and cause the camera to take a photo.

It's probably picking up the movement of the grass or trees. During the afternoon is usually when the wind picks up. I had one that would do the same thing. It would pock up the grass and bushes that I thought were well out of the range of the camera. If there is no way to control the sensitivity, then you could just cut the grass down or point it in another direction.

Wind is pickin up durrin that time...ive watched the whole day go by in pictures on windy days...

Also if you have a metal drum feeder, the camera will sense the temp change on the feeder as it heats up during the day and think it it needs to trip. Do not point directly toward your feeder.
