I'll look for brass and dies.

I've got primers, powder, and probably bullets to suite.

There is a little out there on the shelves here in Idaho, but not much. My hunting partner is looking also, as her gun is really picky about it's accuracy with anything besides Federal.

I did see a 50 rd MTM box of factory R-P this morning on my shop's shelf for $80

Looks like .30-06 can be sized into .280 Remington.

That is if it doesn't bother you.

I've got 9 rounds of Remington .280 that you can have if you are ever in the Austin area.

It can but the shoulder will have to move forward a little (fireform), off the top of my head I do not remember how much. But it can be done

Looked at the SAAMI headspace length 2.1042 for the 280 and 2.0526 for the 06 both where the neck is .375 diameter. The body of the 280 was lengthened enough to not allow a 280 round from being chambered in a 270 Win and fired. That is why the case will need fireforming. to headspace properly.

Yup, neck should junction gets sized back .294"

Fire forming flows the datum line forward .051"

I have a box of Federal 140's Trophy copper I believe. Also have some once fired brass. I have switched over to the Ackley version and have plenty of that brass.

let me know.
