.45 ACP - 01/31/09 02:16 AM

Ok I have a stupid question. I just bought a Springfield Armory XD .45 ACP pistol. It wasn't the pistol I had gone to the store to get but I liked it better from a comfort in my hand and safety standpoint. Anyway, I bought Remington .45 Automatic ammo, can this be shot in an ACP pistol? Before you say anything I know that ACP stands for "Automatic Colt Pistol" that's why I bought the .45 "Automatic" ammo, I just want to use it for targets anyway. Is the "Automatic" label on the Remington ammo just their label for ACP ammo? Thanks for any help.

Looks that way. They don't list a .45 ACP:

I hope so! I've been shooting it out of a 1911 and a Glock 21 for many years.

Yes that is the right ammo for any semi-auto .45ACP
