Best Ammo for a Glock 19

What is best ammo to shoot out of a Glock 19? I don't know if this is just a rumor but I heard that Glock's are picky about what ammo to run through it. Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated. I am shooting the new 55 grain Liberty Ammo as my carry/hunting.

i would suggest any round but that one...there is a video on YouTube about that particular round..
glocks are notorious for reliability i haven't had any trouble feeding any ammo through mine..not many poeple do
just buy any normal self protection hollow point over 115 grains and you will be fine
i would shoot fmj before i shot that liberty stuff..

Ive never heard of a glock 9mm being picky about ammo. mine, along with everyone one of my friends who have glocks, will eat anything you put into it. As far as that liberty ammo, sounds kinda gimmicky to me. I would go with 124gr + for your purposes

I think I say a guy with that liberty ammo, really high velocity....I think a 147GR would be good for hunting, but 124 is good range ammo,little more uumpfh that 115...

What use?
Practice? Whatever is cheap
Defense? I like 147g Gold Dot loads

My 19 has never jammed with anything

I don't particularly enjoy shooting Glocks but I carry a gen 3 19 because they are so reliable and pack a lot of firepower in a package that conceals easily but is big enough to shoot well under stress.

Mainly to carry to and from the bow blind and in case some pigs came up on me.

Play around and see what it likes. Every gun is a little different even if it's the same model and brand. My dad has a 19 that doesn't shoot worth a darn...yet.

I heard that the Hornady Critical Defense is not as good as the Hornady Critical Duty. I also heard that FMJs would be better for hogs because some HPs wouldn't penetrate the tough skin.
