Reloading supplies and components thread. - 05/06/13 02:17 PM

I double checked with jeh7mmmag and this post was OK'd by him. I figure we could all use a resource of where to find projectiles, powders, primers, and all other reloading equipment. Feel free to add to update the list. I'll update the original post as time goes.

Suppliers
http://www.wideners.com/ - Widener's is a staple in the reloading community. They are very reasonable on all items, but tend to have best prices on larger bulk orders of projectiles (5000+) and powders (8lbs+).

http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/ - Powder Valley is similar to Widener's in scale and prices, however they tend to sell in smaller quantities, and are slightly better priced in those.

http://www.hi-techammo.com/ - Hi-Tech Ammo is primarily a bulk/surplus clearing house. Their inventory comes and goes rather quickly. It may be in stock one minute and gone another. This is a great resource for inexpensive surplus/bulk projectiles and powder. Primarily they offer pulled projects and pull-down powders (reclaimed from out of spec/old ammunition batches or runs). Expect to order in large quantites. They also carry a variety of heavy ordinance (.50 & 20mm)and exotic projectiles (pistol tracers & API rounds).

http://www.patsreloading.com/ - Pat's reloading is similar to Hi-Tech Ammo, however you can usually find a large variety of surplus here at a slight premium. Pat's also carries many pistol and rifle match projectiles in larger than normal quantities.

http://www.rmrbullets.com/ - Rocky Mountain Reloading - RMR specializes in bulk surplus projectiles on a much smaller scale. Jake (the owner) tends to keep and sell various bulk military surplus projectiles at very inexpensive prices due to malfunctions or loading errors (overcrimped projectiles). For plinking or machinegun owners, this is an excellent resource. His stock comes and goes, and usually is a once a month visit to see what's in.

http://www.precisiondelta.com/ - Precision delta. Good prices, but you have to order by the 2k. You can mix and match calibers though (1k minimum).

http://www.midwayusa.com/ - Excellent all around resources for anything gun related. Think of them as the Newegg of guns. Excellent place to get hard to find brass.

http://store.thirdgenerationshootingsupply.com/ - Reloading supplies - $7.95 flat rate shipping on all orders.

www.montanagoldbullet.com/pricelist.html - they apparently come highly recommended on ar15.com

http://www.brunoshooters.com/ - Reloading supplies. Bruno specializes in harder to find target shooting projectiles.

http://www.missouribullet.com/ - If you like lead bullets, these are two good sources. MO bullet comp is excellent.

http://www.pennbullets.com/ - another source for lead

http://www.brunoshooters.com/Merchan...Store_Code=BSS

http://www.grafs.com/ - shines for Euro calibers, and is the go to resource for 9.3x62 supplies. They also have correctly headstamped .500 A-Square brass for reasonable money. They also have very low shipping for small orders.

http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/

http://www.precisionreloading.com/mm...Store_Code=PRE

http://shootersproshop.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=71 - For the Nosler shooters - their Shooter's Pro Shop sells blemished and overrun bullets for BIG discounts. Selection is pretty limited

http://www.sinclairintl.com/ - Brownells/Sinclair has Big selection and fair prices. They offer discounts to dealers, gunsmiths, etc. Once you create an account, "your" prices are listed beside their retail price. Usually 5-10% off of retail. Account and orders are interchangeable between the Brownells side and Sinclair side.

Resources
www.reloadersnest.com - Great for supplies and equipment

http://www.brianenos.com/store/dillon.html - GREAT place to purchase Dillon reloading press packages. Turn key packages available minus power, projectiles, primers, and brass.

http://data.hodgdon.com/ - Hodgdon Powder keeps a very well maintained resource of various load data (their powders and others). It is well organized and contains load data for shot shell, pistol, and rifle cartridges. A great resource to print and bind, or keep bookmarked. Although good for commercial loads, it tends to load military/surplus loads.

http://www.handloads.com/ - Handloads.com is a open resource in which people can share loads between eachother. Generally it tends to have a larger variety of loads than hodgdon. There is also a comment section each user can describe the load and it's purpose. The great thing about handloads is usually there are many loads for a particular powder or cartridge, and you can use this to compare the loads and good a good average idea of what is safe.

http://www.handloadersbench.com/ - Good forum resource for handloading

http://www.nosler.com/reloading-data.aspx - Nosler data, nuff said

http://www.reloadammo.com/ - Nice reload data with a wide variety of powders

http://www.accuratepowder.com/wp-con...d_data_3.5.pdf - Accurate Load Guide for Rifle & Handgun.

http://www.accuratepowder.com/load-data/datapowder/ - Accurate Powder Data Powder Guides

http://www.jbmballistics.com/ballistics/calculators/calculators.shtml - Another good resource for reloaders/factory shooters who know their actual muzzle velocity. This ballistic calculator is pretty accurate - saves time and ammo. Input, print, and verify.
