22LR available at Academy in Grapevine

Title of post says it all. Academy limits 1 box per person but they have some if anyone needs them. They had about 25 box's left

I bought a 100rd box of cci green label yesterday. Didn't like the $17 price tag, but i need to sight in my rifle, and atleast i know its quality ammo.

I understand why they have the new policy of one box. It helps them serve more of thier customers

I would have never thought it would be a challenge to buy 22, nor would I have imagined what a brick would bring.

Went to Academy in Grapevine yesterday and they had about 50 more box's of 22LR.

Maybe the craziness is subsiding.

I talked to the Academy people and they had a shipment come in Saturday morning of 9mm and .223 and they said it was sold out in 45 minutes.. and they limit it to 1 box per person... might be a little while longer until this craziness ends.

Give it another month. Things will slowly get better.

Only found 22lr twice at my local academy (Conroe).

Going to academy today I'm hoping..

I stopped by Academy in NRH on my way to work this morning and was able to pick up 2 - 525 round bricks of 22LR for $20/ea. They had about 20 bricks total.

I got there about 7:50am and was fourth in line at the door. The guy behind me in the line was frantic about getting some .45 for his CHL class tomorrow and I asked him if that's all he was buying. He said "yes" so I told him "I'll buy you an extra box of .45 if you buy me a 22LR"...

All they had was 22LR, .45 and .40.

Lots of stupid in this world!

I never thought obummer would get re-elected. This is a new world my friend and we are losing.
