Berrys Bullets

Berrys Bullets - 11/10/12 03:27 PM

I bought a box of Berry's 38 Cal 125 Grain Hollow points for a 357. After I bought them I found that they are plated. Not having any experience with plated started looking around and I guess my books are to old. Does any one have a recipe for Berry's Plated 125 grain Hollow Point. The box states max velocity of 1250 fps.

Thanks

Use data for cast lead bullets for Berry's or Rainier bullets.

Also the bullets are soft enough to crimp them even though there is no crimping groove. On your 357 a light roll crimp will work

Watch the HP's when seating. The plating is so thin that it can literally crack around the mouth of the hollow point during seating if the required pressure is too high and the seater plug does jive just right with the bullet tip.
