Reloading Supplies - 03/20/12 03:06 AM

Sorry if this is a redundant query. I am just getting started reloading shot shells and would appreciate any info on where to purchase powder, wads etc.

Midway, Cabelas.

I'd love a reference for more affordable shot, if anyone has one.

GRAF & SONS has a very good supply of reloading items.
Don't know the shipping charges offhand because I just drive up the road 15 miles from my property (40 from the house) and pick it up. Pick up MIDWA-USA items also- (only 8 miles from house)

No hazard charge. Makes no reason why they could not stick it in a $12 flat rate box.

FWIW... bought 4.5 bags of shot yesterday for $60 (!!!!!!!!!). Kind of excited about that.

Thanks again for the info -went to Southwest Ammo in Mesquite today - nice folks - they are well stocked for rifle, pistol, powder and primers - to as well stocked for shot shell but I did pick up Winchester 209 primers and AA wads at competitive pricing - also picked up a bag of #9 shot for $42.00.

Ok here's my shot story...I ran across a guy that had shot skeet for several years but he had quit in 1998. He told me he had a bunch of reloading stuff he wanted to sell. I sent my son in law over to his house and he came back with 11 bags of shot 7 1/2, 8 and 9, 900 109 primers and 8 lbs of Hi-Skor 700X. The guy wanted $40.00 for all of the stuff, my SIL tried to tell him it was worth more but he insisted that was all he wanted. I am still loading that damn Hi-Skor.
