Best laugh out of colorado i ever had, , Sitting on my favorite large rock overlooking open spot viewing small valley After 5-6 days finaly 1 bull legal. big, in wide open around 5-600 yrds+ Point him out to son, with 300 he adjust his cap backwards,, An proceded to shoot all around the bull an ever time it went off flipped his hat off . Calm him down replace his cap an repeat. Bad part was its on ol samsong video. Got pissed off gave me the gun an left over shells at end. Its odd peice first one goes anywhere, as warning shot then its fair shooter The 1st miss threw him off an went down hill after that,

May sound cruel, But later for his birthday i gave him a rem 270 lt weight, And copy of this as card.. Year or 2 later i gave rifle it to guy up (craig wild bunch?) there for trespass fee. After villards family came out an we had to follow a herd acros hiway. All crapola is something that happened to us from great kills to rolling 4x4s over few years, specks on trees are ones carved in at kills eagles hitting dead deer, ol bull in water with face shot off, trying to drink, bears. An 300 w cases at bottom ect.

if you dont reload now is the time to start

My favorite load for 300wby is 180gr balistic tip with IMR 7828 powder

I agree, if you are going to shoot certain calibers, like 300 wby, reloading is a very cost efective measure. I shoot mine for little more than it costs to load for a 30-06 or 308. The main difference is powder, and eventualy brass, but I have had very good brass life just by neck sizing and staying a little under max loads.

My new favorite load is 165 accubonds. Not the best powder, but I had some H 4895 laying around I wont use for anything else loaded them up. First three shots were about a nickle at 100 yds, cant wait to give them a try.

If you have the brass, which I do then you can load .300wby with 180gr balistic tips for $17.00 a box for the components.

so buy a $100 lee loading kit and a set of dies and you will pay for it with the first 3 boxes you load
