You may have the RF in regular mode
Quote:
Regular Mode
This mode does not provide any degree of elevation or compensated distance, but instead, line of sight
distance only. The will still appear below the line of sight numeric display, but there will not be any
information displayed in this secondary numeric display.

Quote:
Bushnell engineers have worked with Sierra® Bullets’ ballistic programs and grouped many of the most
popular calibers and loads into eight ballistic groups (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H). Once you know what caliber
and load you are shooting simply look through the chart to determine which one of the eight ballistic
groups match with your particular load and caliber. For Muzzleloaders, we have worked with PowerBelt
Bullets to incorporate ballistic data into two ballistic groups (I and J).

The ballistic group information tell your rangefinder approx how much drop you will have for this particular weapons bullet combo. It calculates your additional drop (from sight in) for you (depending on group, distance, and angle) and then displays a hold number + - required for the angle and the range determined by RF laser.
All this is approx and you should do a hard test prof to find truth. If your actual firing range finding are off, you may be able to correct by changing group # setting.

Which bullet bc / ballistic group setting are you using for your muzzy?

i read through the book and i didnt see any setting for the muzzlel loader besides choosing I or J. i chose poth of them and it says the same thing. i know i just need to put some down the range and see what it does on paper when i get it. it just sounded funny to hold dead on at 240 but sight in at 150. i have yet to chose what bullets and powder i want to shoot so i guess ill just have to play around with it once it arrives. thanks again for your info and help
