First hunt of the year = First deer of the year!

Missed the first week and a half due to work so I was excited to get home and get in the stand this morning. I got in super early and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. When the sun started coming up I saw a little buck pushing a doe in the field and was paying attention to them. I caught movement and saw a doe coming down the trail. She walked right under my stand and I shot her as she was heading out to the field. Short track job...When you shoot to spine one it is either a done deal or a miss.
