Stayed in the tree until 9am this morning. Saw 9 deer, a coyote and a big black hog. Only thing that got close enough to shoot was a spike which I would have taken but it stayed facing me for 5 minutes and never turned to the side where I could shoot. Lots of mosquitos out there this morning.

Well a great day even thou the buck I've been watching all summer gave me the slip twice tday. This morning he didn't show at my stand but the one behind my house. So I switched up this evening and the wind shifted and it was over before it began. Man the taste of the rush with my bow in my hand and him at 40 yards in the brush was awesome!! Oh well that's why it's called hunting not shooting. I saw 11 deer 4 in range i passed 2 big spikes and a nice 6. Gona be a great deer season. My buddy's dad missed twice tday his new chair was to low and be bit the window seal on the blind twice clean miss. Il be back out in the morning. Thank god for the inventor of thermacell. I couldn't of sat with out it.

A little slow start in Harper. Dee numbers and size hav been good on camera. We've seen some nice young bucks. Deer seem more skittish than I remember. It is however GREAT to be in the woods and watch as it comes alive in the morning, definitely my favorite time

Great morning deer moved early well. Saw 6 does and a few fawns. A young buck and 3 axis does What are the odds that the one feeder I'm sitting on malfunctions and doesn't go off. Lol. I'm buying lotto tickets tday
All the deer but ofcoarse the mama/fawn combos came to check the ground for corn. The rest stayed moving pacing and waiting for the feeder to go off. Weather was awesome low 60s is hard to beat. I don't think the wind stopped swirling the whole time thanks to dead down wind hasn't mattered. And I'm still sittin here fingers crossed. Good luck fellas
