React Bow sight - 08/23/14 07:32 PM

Anyone have any experience with or any useful info on the new React bow sight. Wondering if it was a gimmic or real breakthrough in technology. Thinking about getting one and wanted to know your thoughts. Thanks.

Same concept as the one I just got from TruGlo. The adjustable single pin design?

Mine seems good so far. I need to get out and stretch it's legs tho.

The react sight has 5 pins but they claim that you only have to set the 20 and 30 yard pins for elevation and windage and the rest set automatically. You move the master adjustment knob and all of the pins move up or down. Some kind of new adjustment technology. I have watched videos on it and it looks interesting, sure enough. But of I'm sure there will be some fine tuning involved but only having to shoot 6 arrows to sight in five pins would be better than shooting 15.

Good sight but is heavy compared to other sights. Works best from what I have seen with bows 55 lbs and above

I have one and love it. When I was first looking at it, I had read that it was heavier than average. But after digging a little further, I read that the material used to make it was very light and that it was no heavier (or lighter) than other sights. I amgoing into my second season with it and it has been very solid and durable.

What poundage draw weight do you shoot? I am shooting 67 pounds but I am guessing that the weight doesn't matter. I am really interested but just like any time you try something new, you are always a little apprehensive. Thanks for the input.

My buddy has one and loves it. It weighs a little over 10 oz I believe. It measures the drop between 20 and 30 and their formula knows what the settings should be from their out. There are several u tube videos on it.

I switched to this sight this year and love it. I am shooting 67lbs out of a Carbon Spyder Turbo. Good pins good sight, I was thinking about the single pin but that thing is huge and mountain hunting you don't always have time to turn the knob. I am loving mine for sure.
