arrow rest - 04/21/14 02:49 AM
Have a PSE bow madness (65lbs) with the two prong rest and want to replace it. What rest would be best for my bow?

Limbdriver by Vapor Trail is one of the best. I am looking hard at the smakedown by trophy taker.

I like the smack down it keeps your arrow from falling out while in a stand.
how's the smack down compare tor the ripped?
I have the QAD ultra hunter drop away, work flawlessly and it is a containment rest

QAD makes a great rest. I do suggest saving up a little more for the HDX model over the Hunter. It is quite a bit more robust, and well worth the asking price. The Hunter is a pricepoint model, and has a bunch more plastic bits to it, rather than aluminum. I have an Ultra HD (what preceded the HDX) and it has been reliable for thousands of arrows (I've shot out 3 strings). My daughter shoots a HDX on her bow.
Also take a look at the Limbdriver Pro-V. It is a really impressive rest. I put one on Mrs bow, and within an hour she had a Robin Hood. Install and adjustment is really simple with it as well.

Get a limb driver and install it yourself. easy to set up.

i've heard of difficulty installing a QAD rest on a PSE bow because of the cable rod. might want to call QAD or PSE first, or at least make sure the rest is returnable.

Hold on here. RipCord is the best.

If you're referring to the G5 CMAX, it's AWESOME
I'm very happy with my QAD HDX. Easy to install too. Just watch the DVD included with it.
