What's Good Shooting?

Was punching out sub .75" groupings on bullseye yesterday with my Barnett Penetrator x-bow at 20 yards, rested. Would this be considered good shooting for a x-bow?

That's not bad at all, I shoot to different dots as bolts for crossbows and arrows for the other bows get expensive when busting them up shooting for small groups.

I would say so

Shot it again today and grouped them within .5" of bullseye. Really enjoying the x-bow, fast and hard hitting.

Yeah, I shoot different dots because I've already busted up several arrows with my Excalibur Matrix 380.

we used to shoot bottle caps at 20 yards.

this was with a regular bow.

we also would take a 5 dollar bill and hang it up, first one to punch thru Lincoln's face got the bill. we did that at 30 yards

I learned to rotate bullseyes after it cost me an arrow. These new crossbows are getting really accurate. 1 1/2" groups at 40 yards
