QAD Rest issue - 01/02/14 02:20 PM

Anyone have the QAD rest had any problems with it not staying in upright position when you manually put it up?

No sir. The two I've owned functioned flawlessly. Contact them, maybe they know of incidences, but I'm sure they will take care of it.

Is it the Hunter model? I had one (Hunter) that developed an issue where I could feel a catch when I was manually locking it in the up position. It never stopped locking up, but I suspect it was heading for that end result. I ended up getting the LD model and haven't had any problems since. If it is still within warranty, QAD does seem to have pretty good customer service from what I've seen.

Stang,
I had the same problem, especcially when I went to a 4" vane. I had to move my QAD rest forward about 1/4" and it solved the problem.
