My first bow kill!

My first legit bow kill! I got a rabbit a month or so back but didn't really count that one. Especially since it was in the backyard! This was a jake but it was all we saw other than hens. Still a great time and I was just stoked to be able to get it with my bow. On the release, he jumped and turned right so I hit him 3" above his tail and got a pass through the lower right breast.

Congrads. How far was the shot?

About 12-15yds. This was my first bowhunt. I picked up a bow for the first time about 4 1/2 months ago.

Very nice, you're a quick study. I hope to do the same in the next couple of weeks. (I'd count any bow kill BTW.)

That is a great achievement. Thats what's fun about bows. You must have dedicated quite abit of time to the whole endeavor. Otherwise get that lottery ticket.

I try to shoot at least 40-50 arrows every evening at 20 yds.
Trying to get as proficient as possible as to not just
wound an animal.
And 300j, yes i'm hooked! I have my list of targets!
