Ive had a couple of them. They are noisy IMO and never could get one that would tune right

Mine is tuning ok, I just have this feeling that this rest isn't for me. You are right, sounds a bit noisy to me as well. Think I am going to go with something else. I have a simple drop away on my 2nd bow and like it a lot better.

Did you get the bow from Pigeon road? That is the only rest they sell. I had to go with one on my omen because the Nap Apache wouldn't drop away fast enough.

It worked fine and shot a bullet hole quickly but it is very fragile and does not lock down 100%. Also the plastic flapper is asking to get broken and its not something you want to worry about during the season.

Have a QAD on the new bow for a day now and only time will tell how much I like it.

I did get my bow from Pigeon Road. I thought I liked the rest when I first got it. Now it is noisy and I am almost down to no plastic rest. Would be interested to know how the QAD works out for you after you shoot with it a few times. I know I am going to change my rest which I need to do soon. Suggestions would be great. I am shooting a PSE X-Force Dream Season 70#

which dream season, 08, UF or EVO?

You should be able to time the QAD with any of them but the new code red ripcord is supposed to be quick as well.

I want to try the new trophy ridge revolution. I can't go to pidgin road because I shoot a Mathews. I don't want to hear how bad they think my bow is over and over and over

One of the best bows ever made! You should be fine with a QAD or ripcord so it is up to you. The only advantage of the QAD when you let down the rest stays up where as the rip cord will come down. That would only matter if you are shooting real short arrows.

Do you hunt in Palo Pinto?

Pigeon Road doesn't sell drop aways. "They don't tune..." I would let the trophy ridge revolution be on the market a year before jumping in. For the money stay with either a ripcord or QAD.

There are plenty of other decent mathews dealers around that should be able to take care of you.

Love my bow. I hunt on our small acreage (35) in Strawn in Palo Pinto County, but haven't hunted Palo Pinto. Also have access during bow season to the adjacent property as my neighbors only gun hunt. 99% of the time I just stay on my property though. I watched a video on youtube of the Ripcord, I am going to see if I can find one on the QAD Inc. product.

Going to be hunting in Lone Camp on the other side of the county so I guess we won't be shooting at the same deer.

I had my string replaced the other day. For some reason I thought my bow was set at 70# It is 60# Just wanted to clarify my error.

I had one and it literally fell apart on my while sitting in my stand. Would not give a ringing endorsement.

Depends on how much you shoot, I can go through 2 a year and I don't shoot that much.
