That’s impressive. The Ruger 223 they rebarreled for me is a terrific shooter, now that I have the magic loads. Every time my neighbor shoots it, he marvels at it, and I practically have to pry it from his hands.

Horizon must be making some good money. That’s good. And now he moves up a level.

Congrats!

Little more clearance between bolt and action, on the short actions would be good.

I have had to lap a couple to get them to run.

I own a couple of their rifles and haven’t found a better shooting rifle yet. Or better looking.
Hopefully this acquisition puts them on the road to a factory line of models in set calibers and 2500.00 to 3500.00 rifles.
An off the shelf gun that really shoots would put the hurt on brands like Christianson and Weatherby. Which charge the high prices but don’t perform.

They actually have two rifles that are what a friend refers to as Economy Customs. They are sold thru select dealers.

I found this when I googled Horizon Venatic series.... I can’t remember the other model name.

I was trying to remember the name of the other rifle they build and I got this picture yesterday of a group from one and it’s called the Jackal.

This was with Horizon ammo too.
