I have one like it in the 22-250 bbl and it is one sweet shooting gun.

26 or 24 inch barrel on the Sub-MOA? I like those rifles and have eyeballed a few of 'em. I always wanted one in .257Roy..

Re: My 257 Weatherby - 02/19/09 07:04 AM

I wish! I had to trade my 7mag that I have had for 4 years or so for the 257. Traded a bow for the Ruger today. Used the income tax for the 204.

You could take down two deer with one shot with a .257 Wby!

Re: My 257 Weatherby - 02/20/09 04:36 AM

what ammo are you using? i just got thru sighting in my new remington 257 wby and it shot very good groups with the barnes tsx. the ammo price is high. hopefully i can get into reloading, but of coarse this is not the type of rifle to shoot a bunch.

That's what shoots best in mine too. Glad your happy with it!

I have the same model as yours in 22-250. My 257 is the syn/stainless model, just to add some variety. I love both guns and don't think that I would ever part with either of them.
