30-30 winchester AE need help???

I have a Winchester 94AE. I love this gun. Ok with that said I have been told that Winchester is starting to phase out an or not make parts any more for these guns. It figures with my luck that mine would now break. I have called several gun smith shops looking for parts and now one wants to sell the part I need but they all will repair it if I wana pay$$$. They say its a liability to just sell the part I call BS there just trying to make a buck.
SoI need the internal component called the LINK, I found it for sale at here Midwest gun works on line. They want 60 for the part, going to a gun smith can get the part an installed for that price. I really want to install it myself an do it myself. Does anyone know where else I can buy this part?
