Hate to say it, but ONE pistol won't fit all three categories.

Current- CZ83 .380
Most Comfortable- NAA Mini, but I think I'd probably reach for my car keys to throw at someone first.
Favorite cal- .45, but there is a lack of compact .45 acp pistols. If the Taurus PT145 were made by, well, someone other than Taurus it would be my carry gun of choice, but after owning one I don't want another. I've had a couple of 27's, it's a solid gun. The 23 is not that much harder to conceal and it gives you a few more in the mag.

SA XD SC .40 in either a Comp-Tac MTAC or an Infidel.
Pocket carry is an original Colt Mustang and winter carry is a full sized CZ 40-B in a custom holster by Adams Leatherworks in Denton Co.
I carry a Glock 19.
Definitely put thought into the holster, which came make a un-carryable weapon very comfortable and vice versa.
I'll put a vote in for 9mm as the best overall caliber. Then again my philosophy for having to use my weapon is to use it with the intent finding safety. Not taking down bad guys. I am not law enforcement nor do i wish to pretend to be one. 45 are great, but I just prefer carry 15 rounds because at the end of the day I just want to make sure myself and defense others can flee safely.

I had a Taurus Slim 9mm. Avoid it like the plague! You could move the front sight easily. Store clerk told me he saw one that moved 30 degrees to either side. Comfy to carry though.

Airweight .357 snub-nosed revolver. Light, easy to carry, always goes bang, and goes bang with authority!
And of course the Glock 26 :-)

I carry a S&W 642 in the summer and a Colt New Agent .45 in the winter. The 642 had a horrendous 12 lb trigger pull when I bought it but I put in a spring kit and polished things up and it lightened it up by about 5 lbs.

I had a glock 33 for awhile, but I just couldn't get used to the short grip. I sometimes carry my glock 17/22, my glock 33 is really easy to carry...... Most days the good ole Walther p99as is my choice

Re: Conceled carry - 07/27/12 04:59 PM
I really like the ruger LC9 (9mm). I have found it very easy to carry. I carry it most of the time with a pancake holster with a tee shirt over it. I have tried other guns and still have them but they seemed to thick to me and was little uncomfortable. I tried the Glock and springfield xd sub compact. Both are wonderful guns and love themm great to shoot but I prefer the LC9 for carrying
