Sig Sauer 226 value question - 09/24/11 11:47 PM

I have a 40 S&W, pre-rail, Night Sights, stainless slide, Black 226, in great shape with grey box, papers, and one 10 round mag.

Whats the going price for this?

I'm upgrading to an Elite Stainless next week and I don't need this one.

I'd start at 800 if it's pristine...BTW, you'll love the Elite stainless mine turns heads at the range.

Is the extra weight that bad? Actually, I'm buying a NIB Stainless discontinued without the beavertail right from Sig. I'll put my G-10 piranha grips on it and be done with it.

My pistol is in great shape but not pristine. I'm probably going to list her for about $550 on Gunbroker. Shes like new compared to others I've tracked for the same price range. Some of them get pretty beat up on the coating eventhough I know the gun is fine.

$525-$550....I doubt you'd get that much on Gunbroker due to the additional shipping and FFL charges.

The weight helps reduce felt recoil. I love Sigs with some heft to them.
