Winchester Model 70 - 08/03/11 03:22 PM

Just thought Id ask and see if any of you guys shoot one? I have a Post 64 model and the extractor needs to be replaced, anyone know where I can get one?

It's a common, but very good rifle. I have several. Almost any competent gunsmith can fix the extractor.

I have the 30.06 Super grade my wife bought for me as a wedding gift in 2001. I really like it. I'd venture to say the rifle is capable of better shots than I am capable of making.

You might try brownells.com. They have many rifle parts.

Good guns, Brownells, or gunparts and the Winchester site, should have one for you. If you can strip the bolt and put it back together it should not be a problem for you to replace the part.

This may work:

Should be a trivial replacement.
