Who do you order your gun stuff from when you buy online?

I use Cheaper Than Dirt and Midway for most purchases, but I buy alot of ammo from Ammuntion To Go.

Just curious if I missing any other good places to order from.

You can often find free shipping and other coupon codes for Brownells on the internet. Rainier Arms are hands down some of the greatest group of folks you will deal with in the AR community !

One thing I would like to add.......Midway has the absolute worst search feature on thier site of any place I do buisness with! Type in "Slings" and you get sling shots.....Type in "Rifle Slings" and you get a book about rifle slings!

Midway has lots of issues. Ive got to where I only use them as a last resort. Brownels is much more user friendly and usually cheaper.

Mine hasent come in yet. Should be in next week. Also getting a Spikes 6.8 SBR with a 10.5" Noveske bbl.

I got a question about those SBR uppers. I know you have to have a tax stamp to have a complete gun with a short barrel but what about just the upper?

I saw some for sale today and thought how easy it would be for someone that doesnt know any better to buy one and mount it on thier lower and then find themselves in some hot water.

So do you have to have any paper work to buy those short uppers?

Im ordering mine from Morgan @ DSS and he is going to handle most of the paperwork. As far the tax stamp I dont think you have to have one to own the upper. Only if you mount it on a lower that is a registered lower. If anyone knows for sure feel free to correct me.

You can own and buy an SBR upper but as soon as you slap it on a lower it becomes illegal without the proper paperwork...

I would hope the sellers are informing buyers of the laws prior to the sale

You can't own an SBR upper unless you have a pistol lower or an SBR. Its constuctive intent as defined by the ATF.

If you don't have a regular AR lower then your ok.

I still don't see how an AR pistol isn't classified as an SBR with the buffer tube hanging off the back that far...
