Gun Value????

I have a friend that is wanting to sell his Remington 700 SPS, stainless steel 22-250 (heavy barrel) with a Nikon Prostaff 3x9 scope,, Gun and scope are in excellent shape..probably no more than 2 boxes down the tube...What's it worth?

Look at guntrader and look at the sold guns to get an idea of what ones like it have sold for.

And be prepared to take less than what those sell for if you plan to sell locally. GunBroker, Guntrader, etc all have a larger national audience than a local site like THF, gun shows, etc.
