AR build???

I am in the process of building another AR and was wondering which Cal I should choose? I was thinking at first 9mm, but then wanted to go to a 6.8. I am wondering which upper and cal would be your choice and why.

Next one I do is gunna be 6.8 and then a .308.

love my 6.8! search there have been a FEW threads on 6.8spc lately

I have a 5.56 and a 6.8spcII! The AR10/LR308's seemed too heavy for a stalking/night hunting rifle.


Anybody heard when the 30AR uppers will be available? These uppers will work with the AR15 lower, right?

My Browning .308 is pig kryptonite, but i'd really like to have something that i can rapid fire with...

my MSAR is great, but i'd like something with just a BIT more boom

I would use the LWRC upper chambered in 5.56mm

I'm leaning towards a 6.8 myself

I just did a 6.8 build for a member on here. He loves it and it is a pretty sweet rifle.
