I bought those Academy mojo decoy weights and had an issue with them today...as I was retrieving my deeks and shaking the hydrilla of the weights, well one of the weights fell off the line...luckily I saw where the weight landed and recovered the 4oz weight...after further look of the design, the manufacture only melted the ends of the line on the egg sinker and it's a poor job at that, so I re-melted the line and hope this will hold, if not I see me putting a sleeve for better grip.

Take a hammer and whack them on the garage floor and "crimp" them on the line

If that is that poly tangle free line, cut it off and go with either 400 Lbs fishing line or Ace brand hardware weed eater string. Buy crimps at academy and crimp them with the wire cutter portion of needle nose pliers. You can thank me at the end of duck season.
