I dove hunt in the Katy/Brookshire ares and have seen very few ducks. I was wondering if anyone had any good teal hunts out there? There is not much water where i hunt, is there any at all out there?

Where we use to hunt is now filled with subdivisions, airports, etc. We've moved west to find the birds...

I hunted there opening weeking and shot 4 with three guys. I hunted there the next weekend and shot three limits.

Hopefully this latest round of rain will add some much needed water and hold a few big ducks for the upcoming season.

Had 4 hunts...........fast limits each time. 3 man, 4 man, 4 man and two man. Longest time for limit = 35 minutes on the first hunt. Shortest time for limit = 7 minutes on the last hunt.

We had lots of birds and they were FAT!

Thank goodness, I was starting to worry. I have a hunt booked for opening morning of the real duck season! Hopefully I won't be disappointed!

Anyone know of any guides offering unguided duck hunts for this season in Katy? I have one booked already, but would like to try others.
