Any recommendations on a solid waterfowl guide near Austin? Preferably someone who will take a single or two hunters.

Try 1A hunting club I think is the name. Don't know them and have never used them. But I liked him on Facebook and he is killing some burds

You don't need a guide to shoot spoonies and blackjacks... haha.

I wish I could help ya out but I wouldn't pay for a Cen-Tex hunt... North or Coast

Not many ducks in Central Texas. If you've seen post by folks in this area then you'll know the cry, "there are no ducks in central texas."

You may want to try south of Austin.
