Well I am in the blind, bow in hand for my first hunt this season. Haven't had a chance to scout much but found a descent looking spot and I'm gonna cross my fingers.

Nadda and my phone died about half way into the hunt LOL. So much for a live hunt.

Better luck next time. Where about do you hunt on FTH? We went out the mnorth gate by the airport going to Lake Belton. Looked like some good areas, bt there seemed to be every type of truck imagenable running around training.

I hunt north Hood u gotta work in between the soldiers training which can be a pain. Lots of areas are closed while training so it's hit or miss

It's been 30+ years for me, but when I was there from 75 to 78, the bow hunting only area around the bunkers on West Ft Hood didn't get affected much by training. I recently ran into a guy that just left Ft Hood who confirmed that it's still the same.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype
