It is with the deepest regret that I do not get to go hunting this weekend. The boss man put his foot down and said that i will just have wait until next weekend. Good luck to all of you that get to enjoy your weekend with no worries of the man.

Looks like I'll be at the bar.90% chance on Sat and 70% on sunday. May be hard to get in and out of my place. Deer get another week to eat for free.

I'll be hunting in Texas Saturday and sunday then oklahoma monday - wednesday to catch their opener and then back to TX to hunt thursday friday and the weekend....its times like these I love being my own boss.....Makes up for the month or two each year where im trying everything possible to get by!

gonna hunt saturday, going to the rangers game sunday, going to hunt monday, tuesday and wensday morning then leaving for Sam Rayburn for a bass tournament thursday friday and saturday. Going to be a great week

I'm on call this weekend but the boss man is going to take over for me till 10:00 AM on Saturday. I hope I don't get rained out. After that I'll just have to take off running if my pager starts blowing up.
If you keep your hair short and your mouth shut, things tend to run a lot smoother.

The Boss(wife) told me I could go this weekend, however gonna' stay in town and putz around the yard. Next weekend though,I'm out'a here

 sad face. I have been crying since monday when i found out i have to work. On the bright side of things i get to take my wife and kids to the state fair on sunday!

I can only hunt Saturday, so I will be out there getting soaked. LOL! Hope to have a doe down by noon. Then backstrap, biscuits, taters, and gravy for supper! Good Luck Yall!!

The boss knew and everyone of the workers knew I always take off but they liked to watch me sweat and it seemed like it was planned someone else would call in sick so I ended up having to work. Gotta love having to work for a living, but those days are over since I've retired.....Who's laughing now suckers!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
