Just finished building my new two-man "High Chair" deer stand. Now all it needs is some camo netting hung around the shooting rail.

Very nice, looks real solid as well. Now do you have to take it all apart to relocate to lease?

All ready

It must be taken apart to move 300j.

You lay it down with the ladder side on the ground (a one man job). Remove a hand full of 1/4" galvanized bolts, and it breaks down into four modules - ladder, rear support frame, seat module, and floor module.

It's a fifteen or twenty minute job. Everything can be carried in a short bed pick-up.

I upholster the seat and seat back with foam padding and waterproof vinyl 1FowlHntR. You don't need a safety belt to snooze in this one. sleep2

That's a long way from the couple of 2x4's nailed to a fork in the branch of a tree that I started out in. Looks real nice!

Really nice stand - all you need to something overhead to keep the rain off. Well built blind!

Box stands are great in bad weather. I have one on each of my three food plots. But I hate sitting in a box when it's nice outside - so I also have high chairs in the same areas. It's great to have both options.

Thanks LFL. It did take quite a bit of work to get it just right - stable, comfortable, easy to build, and movable.

I don't know how many times I took the prototypes apart to make adjustments to the dimensions and change things around, but it was a lot.

looks great but might think about blocking between ladder rungs since they are surface nailed/screwed instead of being inset.

That would be a waste of time and energy tgravley. The rungs are glued and screwed with two deck screws on each end. They will support a 600 lb. gorilla.
