I hope it never rains again and hay goes to $20 a bale.

Let me guess, you sell hay?
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.

It would be very easy for me to HATE you right now. Personally, I'm just a little bit tired of HOT. But, bearing in mind that this winter there will be days where I'm freezing my butt off and wishing for some warm, I won't complain too much.

Just remember once you are out of your overpriced hay, you cannot grow anymore either if it doesn't rain anymore. Then you'll have to suffer like the rest of us.

I hope Walmart starts selling hay. It will serve two purposes, knock the prices down and run Mom & Pop outta the ripoff business. I used to support my local retailers too but at some point you have to get real.

Well, someplace far east of us is getting rain. I have been watching the lightning storm for the last 40 minutes or so.

I used to support my local retailers too but at some point you have to get real. Ripoff? If I thought you were halfway serious, I would have to give you a primer on farming & ranching. Or maybe just explain supply and demand.

Heck before long we will just sell the cows to save money. That's we are getting ready to do in September if it hadn't rained several inches by the end of the month. Can't afford the cattle anymore.

If it gets down in the 80's or 90's since my blood has thinned down, I may go and buy myself a new jacket!Better try and bottle some of that up DF and save it for next summer. I got a feeling we are going to need it!
