Hi folks,

Stumbled across the site in my search for a lease around Lubbock and thought I would make a post and see if anyone could help me out. I'm originally from down around Abilene, and have a lease in that area to hunt on, but I've been living in Lubbock for around 12 years. I haven't been able to hunt much since I moved here because I can't always make the drive to do so, so I'm looking for a place within 30 minutes or so of Lubbock to hunt some dove. Would be for myself and a good friend, both of us are from the Abilene area and grew up together and moved to Lubbock around the same time.

Mainly interested in Dove.... if there happened to be some fishing available that would be a bonus. I don't hunt deer at all, but he does, so something year round is not out of the question if it's available. We're just looking for a place that's close to town so if we want to go hunt during the week after work we can do it, or just make a run out on the weekends without having to drive for 3 hours.

We're both responsible hunters, clean up after ourselves, aren't going to show up to your place with 50 people and leave trash everywhere. So if anybody knows of anything, please let me know. Thanks.

Dove Leases:
I have several different leases located within 30 min of Lubbock. This is a nice deal for hunters who like to hunt often and don't want to pay $75 per day.
Price: $300 per gun per season

FYI, I am actually not directly connected to Crooked Wing but I know the guys through my fraternity while attending TTU. Give them a call, they are good people.

Happy Hunting and Wreck'em Tech!!

I've actually tried to contact them, ran across their site before I ever posted here. I've sent a couple of emails and called a couple of times, just haven't heard anything back.

A few years back we went and did a day hunt with Dane at Tule Creek Outfitters, that was extremely fun. I had never seen so many dove flying in my life. There were 3 of us and we all limited in about 10 minutes. I was just disappointed it was over so quick.

Dane is a good guide in that country, hunted with him all through college.
