I have three openings for a rut mule deer hunt in New Mexico. The hunt will occur on a 78,000 acre ranch in the east central part of the state. The ranch continually produces 160 to 180 class deer. The hunts are five days in length and include guide, trespass permission, meals, and trophy preparation of the animal. Hunter is responsible for motel and license costs. Licenses are bought across the counter and are $355 plus game hunting licenses and habitat management stamp for a total of $425.00

Cost of the hunt is 2x1 hunt - $4000 plus 8% tax; 2x1 hunt - $4500 plus 8% tax for a 1x1 hunt. I do not put hunters together so if you want a 2x1 hunt you will have to have two hunters.

These are special permits allocated to only certain ranches that are enrolled in the Deer Enhancement Program. We can hunt from December 1 to December 14. Hunt dates are currently set for December 10-14 of this year. If someone takes all three remaining tags, we can hunt earlier but cannot hunt any later than December 14 with these special permits. I will not overlap hunts so you will not be able to start two days earlier than the group booked. It would have to be a totally separate set of hunt dates. The rut will be starting and on during the December 10-14 time frame. A maximum of seven hunters will be on the ranch at any one time.

You can hunt with any weapon type, but rifles are preferred. Archery would be out of a blind on water.
