i am new to duck season and love it. i started out this season shooting old shotgun with 2 3/4" and now iam buying a new 3 1/2" gun and i noticed the change in cost of shells and i about fainted. if i start shooting 3 1/2", would it b worth it to start my own reloading process. i notice the 3 1/2" shells cost like $26 a box, man that is over a $1 per shot. WOW!!! how much does it cost you to reload your own 3 1/2" shell with lets say either #2/#3 shot for ducks and #BB shot for geese?

thanks

The only way it will be cost effective is if you shoot ALOT! Reloaders dont really "save" alot of money, they just get to shoot more than other people. Check out Midway USA on the web and figure up the start up cost. Good Luck.

ok thanks a bunch for the info, i just had a nephew of mine tell he checked into already and said after figuring that you will save about a $1 dollar per box and confirmed that it was not worth it being the time it takes to do it. So thanks for your help.
